How to play soccer

1. You are not aloud to touch the ball

2. Only one person in your team can touch the ball and that is the goalie. 

3. No pushing or kicking each others.


4. You have to try and score a goal.

5. You have to throw it in not kick it in.

6. The goal keeper can not pick the ball up out side of the box.

7.Have fun and try not to cheat.

Haunted House

crack the door waved open.I walked down the wooden stairs as I walked screeching noises haunted the house.Doors slamming floor boards Snaping. The mossy planks with rusty nails sticking out of the boards. Old flies that have rotted seeing some old washing on the floor heading up the stairs smelling the rotten rats in the master bedroom blood tails into the kids room seeing the scary monster not long ahead smelling the hot soup running out the door seeing lot of other monsters  getting picked up feeling slime running down my neck as I am being droped into a hole ...

The icy cold river

wading down into the icy cold river. hearing my my friend saying come on you are just about over the other side. Im there where are they under that bush !!WHERE!!.looking under the fern seeing no sign of the ducklings where could they be i said to my self. maybe they traveled down the river. Pain struck my head like a lightening bolt motoring back over the river. Better luck next time.

Burning rubber

line up bellowed in a deep roar.

 My stomach was tided in a bow. Seeing my  pray.

As he lay his wrinkly lips on the whistle as he blew up his stomach.

Working my way around the first cone. 

Slowly chugging along seeing the grass brushing along my rough feet trying to brake my pray as he was looking happy, seeing Mr Webb saying ''come on''.

 Mr Webb says ''Rico and Jos are going to catch you dogging around the tyres as seeing the golden dirt knowing that i was there. Running up the straight like a Praymantis.

Lock him in

Seeing the rusty gate!! BANG!! I hear a radio. Walking into the house and seeing Austin hiding in the corner of the couch. Shaking like he was in the house of doom. But he jumps up to say hello in a deep dark voice. I smell the dusty room and see cobwebs and 1000's of tiny bit and pieces on the floor. Getting dragged into both of the rooms by Austin and Nate. It feels like my bones were breaking. I hear them saying "Finn, Finn!" and they are both fighting over me. Lunchtime, smelling bacon and egg pie. Yum my favourite. The smell of ham, cheese and plump tomatoes.  "Let's fight"yells Austin. I yelp in reply. Fingers poke into my eyes like pins going into cotton. My eyes burn! Help I cry!

Winter Poem
The grey clouds hang in the sky like many balloons.

The cool wind races across my face.

My feet drag across the soggy, brown hills.

The brown leaves blaze across the wet fields.

As tears of rain drop onto my face.

In the holidays we got pop corn that we could not open.

How to make muffins
You will need :
2 cups of self-raising flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 tsp salt


100g of butter
1 large egg
1 cup of milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup (1-2) very ripe bananas,mashed

1.Put the oven rack just below middle.
 turn the oven heat on to 220*c.
2.Spray 24 mini-muffin(or 12 larger)
muffin pans with non-stick spray.
3.Stir flour then spoon it into the cup. Don't shake or bag the cup.
4.Measure flour, sugar, chocolate chips & salt into a bowl. Mix with a fork
5.Melt the butter in another container. Add egg, milk and vanilla and mix.
6.Mash the ripe bananas, add to the liquids and mix well with the fork.
7.Tip the liquids into the flour mixture all at once.
8.Stir together until the flour is wet but mixture still looks lumpy.
9.Use two spoons to drop the mixture into muffin tins. Don't stir it any more.
10. Bake for ten minutes until golden brown and until centre feels firm.
11.After 2 minutes lift muffins out on to a rack to cool. Freeze when cold.

Rainbow's End 

                            

On Monday 17th of February my family and I went to Rainbows End. When we first got there we all went on the log ride me and Will went on the same log.Then after the log ride we went on the Invader. On the Invader we saw Jack and Braith. Then Braith and I went on log ride again. After that we went on the Power Surge. Mum did a flip on the Power Surge. She was screaming! 

Then Braith's Dad, Braith and I went on the Corkscrew Roller Coaster I was feeling nervous we went upside down we went around the loop the loop.We went on the log ride again and again but then we went on the Bumper boats. Braith and I bumped into each other I didn't know how to ride it.Then Braith and I went on the bumper cars. 

Braith went home and Will, Jonte and I went on the Gold Rush. We went on it two times. We went on the Scorpion carts with Dad and I came 5th. We went over to Westfield Mall and had some lunch and drove back to New Plymouth.

Little bro

Little Bro by Manning Skipper                                    

I read a story about a boy who was trying to fix his tyre and his little brother Billy was being annoying and ran way with his patches. He got angry with him and locked him out of the house. Billy was making silly faces at him through the window and he got really angry and lunged at his little brother through the window and broke the window.

He told Billy that he would give him two iceblocks and let him in if he didn't tell Mum and Dad. They put a bike by the window so it looked like the wind blew the bike over into the window. Mum and Dad believed the story and he helped his Dad fix the window.

All about me

Hi my name is Finn. I am 9 years old. I have two brothers called Will and Jonte. I live on a dairy farm on Opunake Road, just out of Stratford. My favourite T.V show is Sam and Cat and I like the Simpsons. My favourite food is pizza and cup cakes but the best is bacon and egg pie that my Aunty Helen makes. My favourite colour is green! The things I like are my tractors, going on the tramp, playing rugby and soccer. I also like going on the farm and riding my bike I like to play rugby, soccer, basketball, cricket and I like to go swimming. My favourite rugby league team are the Warriors! I support the Taranaki Rugby team.
